Complete the Go Math in-book Chapter Review/Test, making sure that you give all UNITS, as needed, and all explanations using appropriate math vocabulary. Use this review/test (that you should have completed in class and checked answers with classmates) to study for tomorrow's exam. I will count tomorrow's exam as a Mid-Chapter 8 Exam, since we will then go back to the 7th grade book to complete our Unit.

Today, students took their Chapter 7 Tests. Students also received their grade Semester Exams - these have been posted on Aspen and were worth 200 points, so you will see 140 recorded for 70% and 100 in Aspen would mean 50% on the test.

Homework is differentiated. Some students are doing all test corrections in their notebooks, some are doing Chapter Test B for class work/homework, and some are doing Chapter Test C.

All Khan assignments were due by 3PM at the latest on 1/31. Several students are still not finished. The Khan assignment grade will be posted this week and will be part of the Quarter 3 grade. A new Khan assignment, with a week or two to complete, will be assigned this week.

Complete 2-page handout (16 problems) titled "Unit 2 Test - Chapters 4-6". A few of you completed this in class after today's Cumulative Semester Exam. Reminder: Khan Academy assignments are due by 1/31 at 3 PM (at the latest!!!). Grades must be posted by 5 PM on Friday, so try to have these done by Friday at noon to ensure that I can go over your work and assign grades. Chapter 7 TEST will be given on Thursday, 1/30 (end-of-Quarter).

A good option is Khan Academy: Log in and select 7th Grade OR 6th and 7th grade courses. Use the Chapter 3 lesson names (e.g. mean, median, mode; bar and line graphs; stem and leaf plots) to pull up explanatory videos, practice problems, and quizzes on these topics. Repeat and/or review on Khan if you score below 80% on a quiz, and then retake that quiz.
