Math Homework

3/17/2020   Attention all classes.  At this point you should have joined the google classroom with the class codes that are listed below for your grade.  You should be watching the video links and taking notes in your notebook and completing the practice problems in your notebook.  Then, you need to take a photo of your work and put the photo into ONE google document with a date.  You will put all of your at home work in this one document.  At the end of this.  You should have a record of all of your notes and work in this document.  I need to see your work, not just answers. 
One way you can get your photos into your document:
Send the photos to your email. Download the photo into your drive. Open your document, go to insert, go to image and click your drive option. There you can select your photo and insert it into your google document.

8th Grade:  We had several students out of class today.  You must get the Khan Academy done by Friday so work on those today.  However, you are also responsible for checking google classroom and the homework website every day.   You will have video lessons from me that you will need to watch, takes notes on in your notebook, and do corresponding practice problems in your textbook.  I may include links with assignments or documents with assignments, and new Khan assignments as well.  Be responsible and do your work every day as if you are in the classroom.

Some of you were assigned a unit on Linear Equations and graphs and did not complete the work.  Make sure you do this soon.  I have entered the grades for those of you who had to do this.  If you see an actual zero recorded in Gradebook, you need to complete it.  If you see a blank space for this assignment in gradebook, you were not assigned the unit.  
7th Grade: Continue working through your Khan Academy Geometry Unit Assignment.  All of it must be completed. I just assigned a new Khan Academy Unit  (Absolute Value and Piece-wise Functions).  The due date on Khan is incorrect.  The due date will be March 23rd in the morning.

8th Grade:  Make sure your classwork is done (151) and 152 and 153 all.  You may use a calculator for every step.  Make sure you write your equation and each step. 
6th Grade:  Student who are set to retake on Thursday during class.  Make sure you have your Chapter 9 Go Math Test Review from the booklet completed.  All of you have Khan Academy that needs to be done.  My group that does not have to retake the test needs to show 30 minutes on Khan Academy with real progress on your assignments.  That does not mean start a video and walk away.  That means completing quizzes and practice. 
7th Grade:  Study for your quiz retake.  Make sure you understand your mistakes. The quiz will be short tomorrow, but will include all of the same concepts and skills.  Do not lose your other quiz.

6th Grade: Based on the outcome of your test, you have a chapter review from the GoMath book and Khan Academy assignments.  The Chapter Review needs to be completed.  The Khan Academy is due by Friday.  If you are retaking the test, you will be doing so in class on Thursday.  Please make sure you are prepared.  More practice work is coming.

8th Grade:  I assigned 2 new unit tests on Khan Academy:  Geometry Unit Test, Geometric Transformations.  This must be completed by tomorrow morning.
