I would like to extend a very warm and enthusiastic welcome to all of our new kindergarten students and returning students as well. It is my hope that you will have a very productive school year. Your teachers and the entire Hawthorne Staff worked very hard this summer in order to provide you with a learning environment that will allow you to achieve your very best. This year promises to be a very exciting one. The new Smart Boards have arrived and our tech lab is equipped with new IMAC computers, thanks to the generosity of our PTA. A new tuition based band program for our fourth through eighth graders will certainly add to our already wonderful music program.
