The Picture Person Program is a monthly activity whereby parents together with the Art Teacher, act as docents to present an Artist of the Month. It is an integrated curriculum whereby students learn about the artist from the Parent-Docent, and then are immersed in the artists' work during their scheduled art period. The history as well as the techniques of the artist are studied and reproduced by the students and are displayed in the halls of Hawthorne Scholastic Academy.
